Review: Theory Of Swing Records and Club U Nite Records are well loved outlets that themselves have a big love for authentic 90s house. They come togther for this special various artists release which opens with Mellow Man and his side project Black Chunes Productions. Opener 'Soul Groove' brings bright xylophone melodies and US garage drums, while, 'Daddy, Are U Ready' is organ-laced New York swing with great style and vocal stabs. Theory Of Swing main man St. David then hooks up with pal Wildbox from No Hype DJs for the same heavy and sweaty house of 'All Nite.' Their second jam 'Feeling Free' is more stripped back and cool with balmy pads swirling round cool drums kicks.

Review: Tribute To House Masters launches its homage to talented producers from the foundational days of house and disco with a first volume featuring some real heavyweights. Each of the originals has been remixed by St David who begins with swinging and delightful deep house depths on 'The Underground.' His Gentle Re-Touch of Patrice Rushen leads to some chunky and full flavour disco house fun, the Club Re-Diss of Armando is jacked up and peak time house with a retro flair and lastly Groovylizer Magic dub brings some silky and soulful flourishes to a Salsoul Orchestra classic.

Review: The unrelenting amount of music that comes out of the Chiwax camp is astonishing, especially as it is all high-grade stuff that does a fine job in the club. St David brings the heat this time right from the off. 'The Groove Goes On' pairs a classic thumping deep house vibe with some fresh synth sounds and sustained chords that bring the soul. 'Summer Nights Fall layers up some colourful xylophone-style melodies over more sweet cruising beats and 'Tech No Pease' taps into a signature Detroit sound with warm machine sounds and dusty drums working in perfect harmony. 'A Touch Of Jazz' is a noodling closer with exquisite piano keys delicately played next to filtered synths.

Review: Italian producer and child of the 90s St. David aka Davide Disanto drops a prim and educated four-track EP here for his home label Groovin. Sunsoaked moods and echoic samples play off serenely in tracks like 'Summertime Jaz' and 'Set You Free', recalling the kick-heavy housework of Tom Jarmey. Two remixes from 34th Floor In Deep and ROP Sunset further cement the sultry, dusky jazz aesthetic that permeates the EP.

Review: In a rare move, two labels team up over one vinyl record, producing the a record so rare and of such limited availability, that no name other than 'Limited Edition Split EP' could be justified. The outfits in question this time are Club U Nite and Theory Of Swing, who've butted heads here for an ultimate hoedown channelling both oldskool energies and next-gen tech-neeks, centring on hastened flips of hip-hop classics. On Theory Of Swing's side comes Italian riser DJ and producer St. Davis with 'Most Wanted', spritzed throughout with Ludacris and Snoop Dog woofs, whilst 'Biggie' is a less recondite flip of The Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Big Poppa'. 'Lil Licks' follows by way of a set of pornographic echoes of Lil Kim's 'How Many Licks?', before we round off on 'Where You At G (Magic Mix)', the EP's only broken 2-step frenzy.
